When I hear the words
I'll know it's not just an indication
It's a celebration
A good vibration
A separation
Of hope lost and moving on
Or time spent and hurt spread
Of words you cannot take back
Or words you never said
But one word was stuck in my head
It kept me thinking of when this would end
A small signal that just didn't send
Of captivation, of knowlegde and fear
Just waiting for something you wanted to hear
But this ship is not one you intended to steer
It's becoming so clear
